Cooking Suggestions

For a flavorful, beautifully textured ham, preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and pat the ham dry. Score the surface in a diamond pattern, making shallow cuts to help the glaze penetrate. Place the ham on a roasting rack in a pan, cover loosely with foil, and bake for about 15-18 minutes per pound until it reaches 135°F (57°C).

Mix a glaze with honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and a splash of orange juice or apple cider. In the last 30 minutes of baking, remove the foil and brush the glaze generously over the ham, reapplying every 10 minutes for a caramelized crust. Let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing along the scored lines and serve with extra glaze on the side.
